Kime Ki Martial Arts Academy LogoKime Ki Martial Arts Academy

BAC Gold

Kime Ki has been open for training since 2004 and is based at Kelvedon Hatch Village Hall, running on Friday Evenings, and now at the Brentwood Centre on a Sunday afternoon. Please check our website for class details and times www.KKMAA.co.uk.

The academy first opened as a Judo Club, and this remains its primary teaching.  However, some of the competitions the academy has attended many different categories for many martial arts.  These include, Light Continuous, Semi Contact, Kumite, Mixed Martial Arts and Forms. Some of the academy's students wanted to have a go, so it now teaches Mixed Martial Arts as well.  One of the academy's students gained the Silver Position in April 2009 European Championships.

The academy has fully trained and qualified coaches and instructors.  All are CRB-checked on a regular basis.  It also has junior coaches who have gained a MastarrTM qualification in ‘Coaching Children in Sports’ and they now help out regularly on the beginners mat.

The academy offers a vast choice to the students.  Not all students wish to compete in the fighting section so the acdemy offers academic paths, training for Kata competitions or even access to the film industry, creating chances to be in films.

The academy has the backing of some major martial arts and sports groups, such as Unity Sports Services, The Guild of Independent Martial Arts and Affiniti Pro Training.  With this help and support it can offer the students the choice to choose their own direction in their training.  This helps support the students with the academy being able to individually devise the right Child Development Program for the student.

There is a lot to do over the next year, with International Training weekends, Competitions, and training seminars, the academy is always busy.  Please call or email us using the contacts below for more details, or just turn up and have a first free lesson.
